How to Cook
How to Cook
1. Wash your hands
2. Ensure to use a clean Utensils
3. Add 1/2 cup milk to a utensil and boil
4. Add 30g (2 tbsp) Sathu Maavu and a pinch of salt & Pinch of jeera powder in a separate glass or bowl and mix with 80 Ml water and stir to avoid lumps. Add more water to the mix if required to get watery consistency
5. Add Sathu maavu mix from the glass/bowl to the boiling milk
6. Cook on a medium flame for 5- 8 minutes & continuously stir to avoid lumps
7. Cool to room temperature and add 1 Tsp Ghee into the porridge, Feed immediately.
TIP : Add mashed fresh fruits or add jaggery for sweet version.
Note: Little tummies develop food habits in early stage, its advisable to expose them to different taste. Kindly do not sweeten every food you feed your little ones.
